Spanish-language network Univision has cut a deal with Disney-ABC International Television Latin America for the production of the Alphabet Network's "Desperate Housewives" series aimed at
Spanish-speaking viewers in the U.S.
The program, to be called "Amas de Casa Desesperadas" will aired next season in prime time on Univision. An Argentine company will produce it, but
the format and script will follow the original, just "adapted to the preferences of U.S. Hispanics," Univision says.
