CW has ordered up the comedy "Aliens In America," along with two dramas: "Gossip Girl" and "Reaper" and an untitled project in South Africa. The network has also renewed sci-fi dramas "Smallville" and
"Supernatural" and teen soap "One Tree Hill" for next season.
"Aliens" will be produced by CBS Paramount Network TV and Warner Bros. and features a teen Pakistani Muslim living in
the U.S. "Gossip," will make two new series orders for "The O.C." creator Josh Schwartz, who also has "Chuck" ready for NBC. "Reaper" is a drama about the devil and a bounty hunter, while the South
Africa project is an adaptation of a British family drama set at a game preserve.
