Kenneth Hein is an award-winning marketing and communications executive with extensive expertise creating impactful communications programs. A journalist at heart, Hein has deep relationships and keen understanding of what messaging will resonate. Prior to founding 3Source, Hein was Chief Communications Officer for the Dentsu Aegis Network, during the most successful growth moment in its history. Before Dentsu, he elevated gyro from an independent start-up to the Advertising Age and ANA Business-to-Business Agency of the Year. Ultimately, he helped the brand achieve its goal of becoming a successful acquisition target. Hein joined gyro from J. Walter Thompson where he built the PR department in its New York headquarters office from the ground up. Before joining the agency landscape, he spent 15 years as an editor covering marketing and advertising at Adweek, Brandweek and other top publications. 

He is the recipient of the Jesse H. Neal Award for Excellence in Journalism, the Ad Club President’s Award, a D&AD Pencil as well as numerous other accolades. In addition to having been Co-Chair 4A’s Agency Communications Committee, he is a member of the Advertising Week New York Advisory Council. He has served on the Ad Club Access Committee, the AAF Communications Coalition as well as a voting member of the AAF Hall of Fame. He has judged the New York Festivals Public and Media Relations Grand Jury, twice, as well as The Drum PR and B2B Brave Awards. He lives in New York with his wife, two children and two dogs.
