Michelle’s career in advertising spans over 23 years, serving in various leadership positions in media and marketing strategy. In the late 90’s Michelle founded Cmedia, a DRTV Media Agency based in Portland, OR. In the years following, Michelle spearheaded the acquisition and mergers of three additional advertising companies, co-creating what is now the R2C Group—a leading transactional brand-building agency that specializes in direct response television marketing. Michelle is an expert at creating advertising that compels the consumer to immediate action, increasing transactions, lifetime value and brand awareness for her clients. Her company, R2C Group, is an end-to-end marketing solution that provides strategy, creative, production, media and analytics—offering speed-to-market at the maximum value and ensuring the highest ROI for its clients. Some of Michelle’s clients include startups like ChristianMingle.com, Web.com, Consumer Cellular, Wayfair.com, Ancestry.com, ProFlowers and NordicTrack. And major brands including Humana Healthcare, Bissell, Microsoft, Chase Bank, KitchenAid, Philips Electronics, TiVo, P&G and Vonage. Michelle is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications. She resides in Carson, WA, with her husband and business partner, Tim O’Leary, and their yellow Lab, Lemon.

    Just the opposite-in many cases size is at the root of several industry issues like lack of trust and transparency between agency and client. Times have changed and client attitudes have too as some leading brands are starting to engage smaller agencies and/or taking traditional agency functions in-house.
