Kirk Drummond burst onto the scene over 20 years ago, at the perfect time to ride the wave of the undiscovered industry known as digital marketing. Today, thanks to a wide range of experience and numerous client successes, he finds himself as front man and CEO of Drumroll – undeniably his favorite gig to date. His skills and knowledge have continued to evolve along with the digital landscape, focusing on how brands communicate and interact with their fan base. His vision for Drumroll is to create long-lasting, mutually beneficial customer engagements, while cultivating an environment where creativity and collaboration thrive. He’s been known to thoughtfully guide clients such as Chase, Disney, Dell and more to success through bold strategy and a passion for creative that pushes the boundaries of what’s possible. Colleagues describe him as a stand-up guy, though it’s worth noting he does indeed work at a standing desk. Prior to Drumroll, Kirk served as the Vice President of Creative and Innovation for T3. During his tenure Kirk lead the creation of T3’s digital offering, directed client strategy, founded and launched T3 Labs and helped turn T3 into a national presence. Outside of the office, Kirk actively works to share his interactive knowledge and creative experience. Kirk’s industry activities have included judging creative award competitions such as the Interactive Advertising Competition (IAC) and the WebAwards, addressing relevant issues as a speaker to industry groups and universities, serving as a writer and panelist for iMedia Communications and authoring a monthly column entitled The [Ad]vantage for MEDIA magazine where he discussed innovation in the industry, future opportunities and emerging media developments. In addition, Kirk’s passion for technology and creativity has led him to serve on the board of directors for Girlstart, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering girls to excel in math, science and technology. Earlier in his career, Kirk worked in management positions with Motive Communications and Tivoli Systems. He also founded ImageWorks CGI, one of the first interactive agencies in the Southwest. When Kirk is out of the office, he is typically out of the office in the extreme – dodging crocodiles in adventure races in the Everglades, Central America and less hospitable locales.
