Chris Dobson is CEO at The Exchange Lab, a programmatic agency which delivers digital advertising campaigns across display, video, social and mobile channels. Operating from multiple global offices, its ad trading and management platform supports 700 customers in 50 countries. BGF invested £5m in 2013 to fund its technology and expansion in the US, and it featured on Tech Track 100 in 2014 when sales hit £21m. It was acquired by advertising giant WPP in 2015 for an undisclosed sum and its proprietary technology, Proteus, is being scaled to run programmatic across GroupM. Chris was previously executive VP and general manager at BBC Worldwide and has held senior positions at Microsoft, Zenith Optimedia and MTV Networks Europe. He joined The Exchange Lab in 2014 as chairman and became CEO in 2015.
