Lilian Tomovich Chief Experience & Marketing Officer MGM Resorts International Lilian Tomovich serves as Chief Experience & Marketing Officer for MGM Resorts International. In this role, she is responsible for developing and executing guest interactions across all marketing channels with the goal of improving the guest experience companywide. This includes the planning and implementation of customer acquisition models to generate business growth as well as communicating the value proposition of the company and interacting with guests through various communication channels to ensure positive guest experiences. Ms. Tomovich brings to her new role more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience in the financial services, telecom and retail industries. Prior to joining MGM Resorts, she held a variety of positions with MasterCard International since joining the company in 2005. Most recently, she was Senior Vice President of Consumer Marketing for the U.S. Market, where she was responsible for all advertising, consumer segmentation, research and insights, and sponsorships. Other roles included Head of Marketing for the Canada market, Vice President of Brand Marketing and Senior Director of Customer Marketing. During her nine years with MasterCard, Ms. Tomovich earned the 2011 CEO Award and was presented with more than 40 industry marketing awards. Before joining MasterCard, she spent seven years with LoyaltyOne’s AIR MILES Rewards Program. She began her career there as Associate Director for Marketing for the Canadian market and was subsequently promoted to Director of Strategic Brand Management for the U.S. market. She later became Director of Brand Marketing, where she handled the overall management of the AIR MILES brand in Canada, which was named one of the Top 10 Best Managed Brands in Canada by Marketing Magazine during her tenure. Ms. Tomovich earned her bachelor’s degree from Brock University in Ontario, Canada and a Master of Business Administration from Wayne State University in Detroit. She serves on the Board of Basketball Canada and was a previous board member of the Ontario chapter of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. She also is a former member of the Canadian Marketing Association Brand Council and Toronto Alzheimer’s Society Marketing Council. In 2014, she was nominated for the Cohones Award celebrating marketing change agents at the SXSW Interactive Conference.
