The rapid adoption of ads.txt, introduced by the IAB in May 2017, highlights the benefits it brings to the digital advertising ecosystem. But ads.txt in its current form still has limitations: It does
not apply to CTV or mobile in-app, it lacks granularity in the level of information available, and it is a manual process that can be susceptible to errors.
