
Erica Warhaftig is a digital strategist and user experience designer with 20 years of experience
crafting web, mobile, and innovative digital products. Erica is passionate about understanding
the true needs of a user, and developing solutions that are practical, possible, and a joy to use. She
has partnered with some of the world’s best brands including Coca-Cola, WarnerMedia,
InterContinental Hotels Group, The Home Depot, AT&T, and Cox Communications. She has
deep experience developing solutions for financial services, travel, e-Commerce, and the food &
beverage industry.
As the VP of Strategy and User Experience for Dragon Army, Erica is responsible for guiding all product
strategy, experience design, and user research within the agency. Her teams employ Applied Game Theory™,
Design Thinking, and a measurement-focused approach to problem solving, to deliver exceptional experiences
and tangible results. Erica also drives many of the Do Good and Civic Engagement initiatives at Dragon Army,
providing opportunities for Dragons to get involved in their community, and make a difference in the world.
Prior to Dragon Army, Erica worked for a range of companies including agencies, small
startups, and global corporations. This diverse background allows her to bring a unique
perspective to each project she works on, and a strong sense of empathy for the specific
challenges and opportunities that each party brings to the table. Erica served as a principal
member of the UX Strategy team for InterContinental Hotels Group. During that tenure, she was
responsible for large-scale improvements across more than a dozen hotel brands, with a focus
on lead gen, conversion, localization, and accessibility compliance. She was also a member of
the project team responsible for the rebranding and redesign of their loyalty program, IHG
Rewards Club. Erica also worked for The Home Depot as the Lead UX Architect for their
consumer mobile app, where she helped to implement geofencing, beacons, and store mapping
to support the in-store experience.
Erica lives in Atlanta with her husband, and their two sons. Her favorite things include bikes,
cameras, coffee, and books.
