I built MODHealth after 5 years of debilitating symptoms, yet was dismissed as “a stressed out woman” by over 10 cardiologists. As my health continued to decline, I took matters into my own hands, researched and diagnosed myself with a predominantly female-focused heart condition. Two weeks later, I flew across the country, diagnosis confirmed, and was undergoing open heart surgery. Women’s health has been overlooked and underserved for far too long. MODHealth is a female-led, female driven agency illuminating women’s health from every angle with stories that are raw, handsome and true.
