The National Hockey League (NHL) has formed a strategic promotional alliance with the rock band Nickelback.As part of the partnership, the band will headline the 2012 NHL Awards post season. They will do two performances, sponsored byVerizon, at the event on Wednesday, June 20 at the Encore Theater at WynnLas Vegas.
