    When I say search, you think Google. But the question that I have is this--does the consumer think the same way? And if so, why? Is it because of the brand or the search experience?
  • Living Out The Fantasy
    One of the most incredible things that technology has given us is the ability to transcend the physical limitations of the real world and our present reality. If you stop and think about it, it is truly amazing--avatars can represent your alter ego, blogs allow you to be a publisher, YouTube and the like allow you to be a director, a producer, a star; same with podcasting. Could it be that the more technology taps into users' passions, hobbies and desires, the more valuable it becomes? Perhaps.
  • Did You Hear The News?
    Atlapetes latinuchus yariguierum. No, that is not a typo--it is news. A new bird species was discovered yesterday. This bird, the Yariguies brush finch, has rare black, yellow and red plumage. It was discovered in a remote area of the Yariguies mountains where the Columbian government has earmarked 500 acres of land in the cloud forest area to set up a national park. Why am I telling you this? Because, as in life, everything must change, evolve, mature and arguably adapt--or face certain death.
  • Where Do We Go From Here?
    I'm iffy about the future. There are indicators that worry me, and here they are-- from a technology that disguises an email user's identity to phone smishing and voice phishing to splogs.
