Roblox's Popularity Grows Among Younger Consumers

Roblox, the online platform that gives users tools to program games and play them, is gaining in popularity among Gen Z and Gen Alpha Americans, researcher CivicScience found in a survey.

Similar to games such as “Fortnite” from Epic Games, Roblox has a social media component in providing a digital space for community building.

“As more U.S. adults become familiar with the platform, Roblox is poised to benefit from heightened visibility and increased consumer spending, paving the way for continued growth,” according to CivicScience. “For brands, this offers an opportunity to connect with younger, tech-savvy audiences through targeted advertising, making it advantageous for brands to keep a close eye on this evolving platform.”
