Inflation-Ravaged Consumers Seek Low-Cost Holiday Entertaining

Inflation is still a major concern for U.S. consumers, despite what the economists at the Federal Reserve say in explaining why they want to devalue the dollar. The country’s leading presidential candidates also prescribe policies that will raise prices for consumers, whether it’s higher government spending or punishing tariffs.
Nine out of 10 Americans said they’ll spend the same or less compared with last year, according to a survey by 84.51 Degrees, the retail media arm of grocery chain Kroger. Only 10% said they’ll spend more.
