Spending on digital advertising in the United States grew 8.9% from a year earlier during the third quarter, according to
financial services firm Piper Sandler. Its information is based on channel checks with the owner of a digital media agency that oversees $1 billion in media spending.
Looking ahead to the current quarter, they estimate that digital ad spend will expand 7.7% from a year earlier. Of course, the estimated growth rate will vary by digital-media platform.
