More than two-thirds of the U.S. population have their televisions connected to the internet, and the average time spent among adults is expected to surpass two hours a day in 2024. That affinity for CTV makes the channel ideal for brands that seek to reach holiday shoppers, according to a report by consumer-data company Experian.

“Across generations, consumers will gather information from three to four different sources before making a purchase,” the report said. “Make sure your marketing strategy is spread across channels and that you’re activating on connected TV.”
