Streaming apps offer consumers the ability to watch programming on a variety of connected devices including mobile phones and smart TVs. Those viewers tend to prefer their television sets for watching long-form content such as TV shows and movies, according to survey data from LG Ad Solutions published by trade association VAB.
About four out of five (79%) of respondents said they prefer to watch movies on TV, compared with only 14% for a mobile device and 7% for a desktop or laptop computer, the survey found.
