Generative artificial intelligence – the technology that powers a growing variety of chat apps, virtual assistants and search engines – is most likely to be adopted for marketing applications within consumer goods companies, according to a study
by consulting firm Deloitte.
Its survey of leaders within organizations that have adopted AI as part of their daily operations found that 20% of consumer goods companies use Gen AI in marketing functions. That percentage makes marketing as popular as information technology, also at 20%, at consumer goods companies.
