California, Massachusetts Lead In ChatGPT Usage

ChatGPT, the chatbot powered by generative artificial intelligence, in the past couple of years has changed the way many people find information on the internet.
For many users, ChatGPT provides a concise answer to their questions without having to dig through the results from a search engine. That said, most major search engines also have incorporated some form of Gen AI trained with large language models.
California residents are the biggest users of ChatGPT, according to a report by AI image generator Imagine Anything. Its study of Google searches for information about the app determined that about 15,000 people for every 100,000 state residents could be considered users of the chatbot. Massachusetts was in second place with about 13,800 searches.
