A significant portion of Super Bowl advertisers experienced a jump in internet searches for their brands, an early indicator of success for their commercial airings, according to trade group VAB.

“There were several objectives and strategies that advertisers had for their Super Bowl spot(s), but regardless of their goal, the massive audience and live, engaging content of multiscreen TV delivered mid-funnel outcomes, by driving significant lifts in branded search for brands of all types,” VAB said in its report.
