AI Adoption In Marketing Grows, But Technology Is In Its Infancy

AI adoption in marketing is expanding rapidly but most marketers are still in the early stages of using the technology, according to a report from AI marketing platform Jasper.

Its research found that 63% of marketers are already using generative AI, with 79% planning to expand their adoption in 2025. This finding solidifies AI as a core element of modern marketing strategies.

Despite this adoption rate, a significant 78% of marketers only began using generative AI in 2024, and just 10% classify their AI implementation as "very advanced." Moreover, only 49% of marketers said they can effectively measure the return on investment of their AI initiatives, highlighting a significant gap between AI adoption and the ability to track its impact.
