Photo-sharing app Instagram has become an important platform for publishers looking to expand their reach and strengthen their brand presence in 2025, according to a report from media monitoring platform NewsWhip. 

Bleacher Report and ESPN led publishers with 82 million and 70 million engagements, respectively. The two outlets accounted for 682 of the top 1,000 posts, leaving limited room for the other 48 publishers in the ranking, according to NewsWhip.
