The modern television is no longer just a screen for binge-watching your favorite shows. It's quickly becoming the nerve center of the connected home.

According to a report a from Samsung Ads, 83% of U.S. smart TV owners use their televisions for more than traditional TV and movie viewing. The survey, which polled 1,000 Americans ages 18 to 64 who own a smart TV or a connected media device (such as those made by Roku, Apple or Amazon), reveals that the TV’s role has evolved into a multifunctional command center for entertainment, fitness, shopping and even smart home control.
