Democrats, Republicans Turn To Different News Sources, And Trust Them At Starkly Different Levels: Pew

For years, Democrats have been far more likely than Republicans to say they trust national news organizations, but a new Pew Research Center survey reveals just how sharply partisan news habits have diverged when it comes to specific outlets.

Democrats and independents who lean Democratic are significantly more likely to both use and trust many of the country’s major news providers, including ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, PBS, NPR and The New York Times. Republicans, meanwhile, express widespread distrust of these same sources, according to the survey.
