The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) closed the 2025 regular season with
record highs in television viewership, live attendance and social media engagement, marking the fourth straight year of audience growth, according to an announcement.
The league reported a 22% increase in linear TV viewership compared with last year, with the largest gains coming from women ages 18 to 34, a demographic up 30% year over year. Total digital viewership rose 30%, with fans watching a record 2.62 billion minutes of live games across streaming platforms. The NWSL also cited increased viewing on ION’s free ad-supported streaming channel, which logged 3.25 million total hours watched, up 24%.
