AI chatbots have become a common fixture in U.S. teenagers’ digital routines, alongside heavy use of platforms like YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, according to a new report from the Pew Research Center.
The study, released amid ongoing debates over teens’ screen time and social media habits, finds that nearly two-thirds of teens ages 13 to 17 say they use an AI chatbot, with more than a quarter reporting daily use.
