According to BrokerChooser’s analysis of more than 1,400 finance-related Meta ads running in April 2026, nearly half of the finance ads targeting U.S. users were classified as “high-risk.” That includes ads labeled risky or outright scams, meaning America’s Instagram and Facebook feeds still contain large volumes of aggressive finance marketing, including ads that researchers classified as risky or potentially deceptive.
