McKinsey & Co.s “Value Creation in the Metaverse” survey reveals about 67% of respondents from different industries have implemented metaverse features in their marketing campaigns or initiatives, compared with 63% for employee training, 53% for virtual meetings, and 52% for online events or conferences.
According to the report, the retail and apparel, fashion, and luxury industry groups were most likely to adopt the metaverse in marketing, with 95% of senior executives stating they’ve done so already. The report also discovered that 59% of consumers preferred to participate in at least one activity virtually instead of physically.
