Consumer Opinion Of Amazon Ads Grows More Favorable


According to Feedvisor’s “The 2022 Amazon Consumer Behavior Report,” Amazon shoppers find Sponsored Ads helpful (an increase from 20% in 2019 to 38% in 2022) as they search through its online marketplace. Also, the number of shoppers who said they didn’t notice the ads decreased from 31% to 15% during the same period. Additionally, in 2022, 70% of shoppers said they frequently or sometimes buy the first product listed on an Amazon page. However, the number of people who find the ads are in sink with their interests decreased from 18% to 11% in recent years, which may indicate ad targeting is a challenge for some advertisers.
