Political Advertising Of $17B Will Help Lift 2024 Media Spend

Political advertising will help to lift spending on media and marketing in what otherwise may be a lackluster year for the U.S. economy, according to a forecast by consulting firm Winterberry Group.

With presidential campaigning well under way, the firm estimates that spending by political campaigns this year will hit $17 billion, up from $10 billion four years ago, and make up 30% of total growth.
