Netflix Dominates Gen Z's Time Spent With Streaming

According to a report by media-measurement company Samba TV, almost half (46%) of Gen Z consumers in the United States watch video streaming services daily, compared with 30% who watch traditional linear television each day.

Netflix is the most popular streaming service, comprising 59% of time spent with original programming in the first quarter of 2024, followed by Warner Bros. Discovery’s Max (10%), Amazon’s Prime Video (9%), Walt Disney’s Disney+ (5%) and Hulu (4%), the data show.
