Generative AI Spurs Consumer Interest In Other Technologies

According to a report by advertising agency Dentsu, “The metaverse, blockchain, cryptocurrency and other new tech are piquing their interest, sparking conversations about how these innovations could shape our lives down the road.” 

Half of people surveyed said that since Gen AI has become more mainstream, they are more interested in other technologies.

The difference between people who said they believe Gen AI is part of people’s lives in 10 years and the people who believe it’s a fad was 54%, Dentsu found in its online survey of U.S. adults. The percentage was higher than for other emerging technologies such as the metaverse (30%) and blockchain (30%).
