Younger Sports Fans Are Most Likely To Stream Live Games

Streaming video services in the past few years have added more live sports to their lineups to appeal to a broader audience. Amazon’s Prime Video streams the NFL’s “Thursday Night Football,” as one example. Netflix will broadcast live NFL games on Christmas for the next three years.

According to a blog post from a researcher notes “This increased presence on streaming services by leagues comes as CivicScience data reveal that 39% of sports fans are more likely to watch live sports if they are available on popular streaming services rather than cable TV."
