HIT Entertainment Debuts Film Division

HIT Entertainment, a children's entertainment producer and rights owner, has launched HIT Movies, a new division dedicated to making family-oriented movies out of HIT's library. Julia Pistor, most recently executive vice president of movies at Nickelodeon, will head the new unit. The film division will initially focus on developing family film franchises based on HIT's leading properties, such as "Thomas & Friends," "Barney," "Bob the Builder," "Angelina Ballerina") and "Rainbow Magic."
