The St. Paul Pioneer Press laid off nine employees in its newsroom Tuesday and two in advertising and sales production. The cuts are expected to save the Minnesota newspaper about $800,000 a
year, according to the
Minneapolis Star Tribune. The paper laid off about 12 people earlier this year.
