Starz Added To Comcast's 'On Demand Online'

Starz Entertainment will join Comcast's "On Demand Online" trial, which uses authentication technology to let cable subscribers watch online programs for free from networks they already receive as part of their pay-TV packages, reports B&C. Some 300 movies from the Starz networks will be available, such a "National Treasure." The Comcast trial, part of Time Warner's "TV Everywhere" plan, includes content from TNT and TBS. Other networks, including Scripps Networks, Cablevision's Rainbow Media, A&E Television Networks and Comcast Networks, are also expected to eventually participate.
