Target Intros Hispanic 'Dream In Color' Campaign

  • September 10, 2009
To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, which starts Sept. 15, Target says it is introducing a new "Dream in Color" campaign, featuring the inspiring stories of four "influencers" in broadcast spots and online videos.

This year's roster includes musician Luis Fonsi, NASCAR driver Juan Pablo Montoya, actress Elizabeth Pena and Lillian Ortiz, school principal of PS 155 in East Harlem, New York. It is the first time the Minneapolis-based chain has included a community leader among the celebrities.

Target also partners with the Smithsonian Institution to create free online lesson plans, resources, curriculum ideas and activities for educators.--Sarah Mahoney
