Nine of Gannett's broadcasting stations won 44 regional 2010 Edward R. Murrow awards, a competition sponsored by the Radio Television Digital News Association. Six Gannett stations won the highest
award for "Overall Excellence." Among those winning the Overall Excellence awards: KARE-TV in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minn.; WXIA-TV in Atlanta, KUSA-TV in Denver and KTHV-TV in Little Rock, Ark.
