Per Nielsen, Tennis.com recorded more than 27 million pageviews during the combined six weeks of play of the Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon Championships. Sport fans spent more time on the
site this year, with an average of 13.01-minutes per visit: a 34% increase versus 2009. Tennis.com also experienced a surge of mobile traffic during the 2010 Wimbledon Championship. The Tennis.com
mobile site, which launched just prior to the 2010 French Open, was used by 8% of visitors accessing the site from smartphones during that event. Just a few weeks later, traffic from smartphones rose
to 15% of total visits during Wimbledon. Weekly podcasts are now available directly on the site or through digital music stores such as iTunes and Zune for no charge.
