HuffPo, Public Integrity Center Merge For Investigative News

The Center for Public Integrity and the Huffington Post Investigative Fund have joined forces to enhance the digital delivery of nonpartisan investigative journalism. The union creates one of the largest investigative newsrooms in the country. The two staffs will be integrated by Jan. 1, bringing the total at the 20-year-old Center for Public Integrity to more than 50 employees. The Knight Foundation recently committed $1.7 million to the Center specifically to expand its digital media platforms.
