H&M is about to take the wraps off its new Lanvin collection, and introduced the new line with a glitzy fashion event in New York.

The women's line, which ranges from $19 belts to $249 dresses, will be available in 200 stores. Designed by Alber Elbaz, artistic director for the legendary Lanvin, the women's clothing features the designer's trademark bright colors and distinctive cuts. Menswear, designed by Lucas Ossendrijver, include tuxedos for day and jogging pants.

In the past, the Swedish-based "fast fashion" chain has featured designer collections from Stella McCartney, Jimmy Choo and Sonia Rykiel.
