CBS will broadcast a service from a Chicago church instead of The Late Show on Christmas Eve.
This Holy Night will be broadcast from The Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Luke in Chicago. CBS
said the service will have an emphasis on music, including brass and string instruments, an adult choir, children’s choir and jazz ensemble. The service will also include expressions in African and
Latino culture. The Rev. Barbara Berry-Bailey will discuss the history and tradition of sharing ministry and sacraments in a Lutheran service.
