PNC aims to simplify banking by adding the ability to deposit checks to its iPhone application. 

The mobile deposit feature is available to PNC customers via the company's PNC Virtual Wallet app.  PNC's mobile deposit is a three-step process that takes about 90 seconds.  Consumers first select the deposit account, the amount and then photograph the front and back of the check.  Additionally, mobile deposits made before 8 p.m. are typically available the next business day.
