Spike TV, the recast TNN network for men, is partnering with
GQ Magazine to present the eighth annual
GQ "Men of The Year" Awards(tm)," recognizing "men of distinction" from the worlds
of music, fashion/style, film, sports, journalism, comedy and television. The
GQ "Men of the Year" Awards premieres exclusively on Spike TV on Tuesday, October 21. Live musical acts will also
be featured, with details to be announced.
GQ "Men of the Year" issue hits newstands in NY and LA on October 21 and nationwide October 27. TNN will officially change its name to Spike TV on
Monday, June 16, 2003. Spike TV, the first network for men, is available in 86 million homes and is a division of MTV Networks
