MEC has won the Henkel media account in Australia and New Zealand, following a pitch against the 10-year incumbent OMD. Schwarzkopf, part of the Henkel stable of brands, spent $6.4 million over the
past 12 months in Australia, according to Nielsen. This is MEC's second win against OMD this year, with the GroupM agency winning the $22 million Allianz Australia media planning and buying account
from OMD in June.
