Omnicom Group's PHD USA has hired Matt Seiler as president of PHD U.S. Seiler, 42, will report directly to Steve Grubbs, CEO of PHD North America. Seiler was most recently an executive vice president at Omnicom, where he led integration efforts, most notably for agencies working on the holding company's PepsiCo business. Before joining Omnicom in 2001, Seiler served as director of strategic planning at BBDO New York, where he worked from 1996 to 2000. He also ran the agency's global Frito-Lay business. He left to join Wieden & Kennedy as managing director of its New York office. Before joining BBDO, Seiler worked as a senior account director at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners. In his new role, Seiler will oversee PHD's operations in New York as well as its offices in Chicago, St. Louis, and San Francisco.
