Harold Mitchell, executive chairman, Aegis Media Australia and New Zealand is retiring in August, the firm said Wednesday. Mitchell joined Aegis in 2010 when he sold Mitchell Communications Group to
the company for about $360 million. He started the namesake firm in 1976. Mitchell was named to the Aegis board and remained a director until Dentsu bought the company earlier this year. Aegis
said Mitchell would now focus on his other business interests as well as community and charity activities.
