McKinney Names Adam Levine CMO

McKinney, part of Cheil Worldwide, has appointed Adam Levine as CMO.

Previously Levine was Global Brand Marketing Director at Interpublic Group’s Deutsch. He left Deutsch earlier this year.

McKinney said that Levine will split his time between the agency’s two offices, located in Durham, NC where it is headquartered and New York.

As for his new role, Levine said, “it’s actually quite simple: Grow the agency. My peers and I have the same technology and tools at our disposal. So it’s how we go about growing the agency that will differentiate McKinney long run.”

While at Deutsch Levine is credited with leading  new business wins including Ortho Women’s Health, Microsoft and Intel, Zoloft, Verizon Information Services and Revlon. He also served as brand director and director of interactive client services for brands including IKEA, Snapple, Mitsubishi, Tanqueray and LensCrafters.

Levine is chairman of the board of Live Out Loud, a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering LGBTQ youth by connecting them with successful LGBTQ professionals in their community.
