Roger Ailes Named Chairman Of Fox TV Stations

Roger Ailes, chairman of Fox News Channel, as expected, has added the additional post of chairman of Fox Television Stations, the unit that includes News Corp.'s broadcast TV stations, as well as TV syndicator Twentieth Television. Ailes assumes responsibilities that were handled by Lachlan Murdoch before, who resigned as deputy chief operating officer last month. Jack Abernethy, CEO of Fox Television Stations, will report to Ailes, who will in turn report to News Corporation's Chairman CEO Rupert Murdoch, and the President-COO Peter Chernin. -- Joe Mandese
