R&B singers serenading people across Zoom. Seven-hour virtual beer pong sessions. Potato art projects.

As lockdowns roll on agencies are continuing to rally their staff with one-of-a-kind activities.

Creative shop Haddad & Partners has featured R&B singer Brian McKnight singing his latest song “Nobody” to a worker whose wedding has been put on hold due to the pandemic. This agency-wide Zoom session also included McKnight sharing details behind his recent nuptials.

Another Haddad party included former Bulls player Scott Burrell, currently starring in the Michael Jordan documentary "The Last Dance,” joining 50 staffers for an epic seven-hour virtual beer pong tournament. And most recently opera singer Victoria Robertson serenaded one male staffer on his birthday.

Agency Surefoot, which  supports e-commerce brands, purchased and sent cookware for its team to participate in an agency wide cooking class on Wednesday, May 27.

The Richards Group is interjecting some humor into life under quarantine by providing a weekly roundup of entertaining activities performed by coworkers. Staffers Dustin Ballard, Jim Baldwin, and Rodolfo Ruiz helped others feel just like they were watching a concert under the stairs at work, while in-house director Trey Hill collaborated with Lucky Post production shop to demonstrate his impressive skills working with the only cast members (read: his own children), an iPhone and his garage to scare viewers with a two-minute mini film.:

Movement Strategy is asking its team via Slack to "Make this potato into a Disney character" as part of its bi-weekly challenge initiative where employees submitted fun drawings and voted for their favorite at the end of the week. The winner received an Amazon gift card.

The shop’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee has also attempted to foster positive company culture via mental health talks, cultural education/presentations such as for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, and 15 minute virtual hangouts/wellness check-ins.
